An Equine Production
Back Number Program

Have your lucky, favorite, historic, symbolic, or must-use back number? After many years of not being offered, the An Equine Production back number program is returning! Take your chance at an estimated $15,000 which will be awarded to the 13 divisions offered! The number will be reserved for the qualifying points range of December 1, 2026 - November 30, 2027. An awards presentation will take place at the 2027 Florida Gold Coast Circuit in Tampa, Florida, for a minimum of the top-3 placing exhibitors or horses in each of the divisions offered. Winners aren’t required to be present.

Points will be tabulated on a 9-point scale for each class offered with 9 points awarded for first, 8 points for second, etc. Points will count for each judge and all rounds the class is offered. If there are less than 9 entries in the class, first place would receive the total number of entries shown in the class (6 horses =  6 points 1st place).

Divisions
The following divisions will be awarded: Open Junior Horse, Open Senior Horse, Level 1 Open Horse, Amateur, Select Amateur, Youth 13 & Under, Youth 14-18, Level 1 Youth (18 & Under), Level 1 Amateur, Level 1 Select, Level 1 Youth Walk-Jog, Level 1 Amateur Walk-Jog** and Small Fry***. Any ranch or over-fence classes will count to each of the above divisions. Any halter classes would be counted for each division.

*For shows that offer leveled classes, the points will be awarded based on the level entered. If any classes are combined (Select Amateur and Amateur to All-Age Amateur, Youth 13 & Under and Youth 14-18 to All-Age Youth, Junior & Senior to All-Age Open), the points will be awarded based on the age of the exhibitor or horse in each instance.
**For any shows that offer Level 1 Select Walk-Jog, those points will be awarded in the Level 1 Amateur Walk-Jog/Trot division.
***For any small-fry classes that are not AQHA approved, the affiliate show will default to the age limitations set by the approving show. The points for small-fry will still count for year end awards.
